Studio Room

Shank’s Mare is pleased to have local artist Rob Evans’ work displayed on our studio room. Rob’s work is widely popular having been displayed in galleries in New York, Philadelphia, and throughout the country. Rob will have matted and signed prints as well as framed originals for sale in the studio room.

Artist’s Statement

I am 24 years old and I am an oil painter. Art has always been a source of healing for me. The majority of my art is very conceptual. I am inspired by artists such as Egon Schiele, Henri Matisse, and Georges Rouault. For me, art is a way to express what cannot be expressed with words and as a way to be completely in the present moment.

"Here is a universal rule of life. We will never produce anything great unless we are prepared to put something of ourselves, of our very life, of our very soul into it."
