Paddle Evening Rendezvous

Fall Equinox Paddle Evening Rendezvous

Friday, Sept. 17, 2010, 6:00-9:00pm

September is one of the most beautiful times of the year on the Susquehanna. Enjoy the comfortable evening temperatures with a delightful guided paddle on the River. This paddle is suitable for beginners, will be led by our experienced guides, and rental kayaks are available. Following this very relaxing evening paddle, participants will retire to Shank’s Mare’s meeting room The Rookery for a delicious candlelight dinner as you enjoy our beautiful of the Susquehanna. Enjoy great paddling, great food, and camaraderie with your fellow paddlers. Reservations and pre-payment are required, and tables may be reserved in advance for couples or groups.

Fee including guided paddle and dinner – Members $36/Person, Non-Members $40/Person

Kayak rental - $15/single kayak, $20/double kayak (A.C. Members receive a 10% on kayak rentals)

“Rendezvous” is defined as “a meeting place, an agreement to meet, or the meeting itself”.

Shank’s Mare is your “rendezvous” for lots of fun and educational outdoor adventures.
