Mark your calendars and be sure to join us as we kick off our 2009 Paddling Season! Our Kayak Demo Weekend offers you the opportunity to “test paddle” all of the fine models of kayaks offered at Shank’s Mare for 2009. Expect some great new kayaks from Current Designs, Native Watersports, Hertiage Kayaks, Necky, Emotion, and more. Factory reps will be on hand with kayaks as well as paddles, and the experienced staff from Shank’s Mare will be ready to answer any questions. Get ready to go play outside!

One of the best ways to ensure you are making the proper kayak or paddle choice is to actually “test drive” the equipment on the water. There’s no better place to do this than right in front of Shank’s Mare on the Susquehanna! To demo our full fleet of kayaks and paddles, call ahead to arrange an appointment with one of our experienced staff members. We will be happy to assist you in making the right equipment choice for your individual purpose.
