Paddle Evening Rendezvous

Shank’s Mare is ready for another delightful season of paddling and dining along

the Susquehanna. Our Paddle Evening Rendezvous run throughout the summer and

fall paddling season and feature a guided, leisurely kayak tour at dusk suitable for

beginners, followed by a delicious dinner in The Rookery. It’s a great way to spend the

evening with significant others, friends or family. Come by yourself or reserve a table

with friends – either way you are sure to spend a unique evening on the Susquehanna

at Shank’s Mare. Reservations and pre-payment required.

Sunday Brunch Paddle Rendezvous

Along with our Paddle Evening Rendezvous, the Sunday Brunch Paddle Rendezvous are

one of our most popular programs. The format is the same. Enjoy a guided paddle tour

suitable for all skill levels including beginners, then finish with a delicious brunch in

The Rookery. Come by yourself or reserve a table with friends – either way this is a great

way to begin your day on the Susquehanna at Shank’s Mare.

“Rendezvous” is defined as “a meeting place, an agreement to meet, or the meeting itself”.

Shank’s Mare is your “rendezvous” for lots of fun and educational outdoor adventures.

Shank’s Mare’s meeting room, The Rookery, offers a spectacular view of the river and a beautiful setting for our brunch and dinner programs and tours.

Paddlers get a short orientation before they begin a leisurely paddle on the Susquehanna.

Gift Certificates are available for Paddle Evening Rendezvous and Sunday Brunch Paddles. These programs are perfect for clubs, organizations or family gatherings. Private functions may be scheduled upon request. Please call Shank’s Mare for details.

Kayakers head out for a relaxing Sunday morning paddle. A delicious brunch in The Rookery will be waiting for them on their return.
