The rock formations in this area of the river are still a mystery to the geologists, and this part of the river is unlike any of the other areas we paddle on the Susquehanna. It is truly one of our favorite destinations on the river. As you meander through the unique formations, you may stop to take a dip, use your camera to capture the awesome landscape, and enjoy a picnic lunch provided for you. Rental kayaks are available.

Rental kayaks are available at an additional cost. Please call 717-252-1616 to make arrangements if you need a kayak. Participants should wear clothing suitable for watersports, water shoes (no flip flops) and sun protection. We also suggest a hat with brim, sunscreen, water bottle and any snacks you may wish. A picnic lunch is provided.
