Trail Town Paddle Tour



Have a fun evening in York County's newest Trail Town, Wrightsville.  Begin with a guided paddle tour launching at the Lemon Street ramp in Wrightsville.  Explore the footprint of the 1830's era Susquehanna Canal.  Paddle around Mud Island and hear about the families who have maintained campsites on the upper Lake Clarke islands for generations.  Take-out once again at Lemon Street, and then get ready for some fun in Wrightsville.  Grab a bite to eat at the Wrightsville Inn, Burning Bridge Tavern, or The John Wright Restaurant.  Visit Half Nuts Popcorn for the best sweets around.  And, all of this is along Front Street for easy walking access.  This tour meets at the Lemon Street boat ramp in Wrightsville.

Shank's Mare instructors have years of experience guiding paddlers on the Susquehanna River and elsewhere. They are happy to not only safely guide you on your tour but give you highlights about the beautiful Susquehanna River at Wrightsville.
